The wonders about being in alpha mode is you learn a lot of things. Most obviously, you learn what works, and more importantly - what doesn't work. But other than that, you learn about your assumptions. As you start interacting with the system, not as a developer, but as a plain old user, you realize that there is much to be done, much that should change, and much that needs - at the very least - some tweeking.

That's where we are now. I making a list, and I'm checking it twice. Each time I interact with the site, or observe the site (through another's interactions) I'm learning something new.

That being said, my list grows and grows with each moment. Hopefully by the time I make good headway on the list of TODOs, we'll have a very stable site with a very nice flow.

In the meantime, forgive us for any bugs, or querks. Occasionally the site will go down, or will have intermittent failures. But don't worry, this doesn't mean the site is broken. It means something is being fixed.

I'll also comment that, in the world of Development - be it software, or be it web, lists never end. They just grow and grow and grow. Milestones are reached - most of which are noted internally. Users rarely know the difference between a 2.2.4 release and a 2.2.5 release, but when numbers change, rest assured that something big has happened.

We're not using any versioning at the moment. Except very general alpha, beta labels. Maybe I'll start a new versioning that features more greek letters. Or maybe I'll go with Roman Numerals.
